What does a financial manager do at BUILDINGS Group?
The financial manager has end responsibility for everything related to finances and administration. He/she prepares a financial planning and multi-year plans, monitors income and expenses, presents financial monthly, quarterly and annual reports to the management and other stakeholders of BUILDINGS Group. Is the sparring partner for the accountancy firm.
Your tasks include:
Assisting with decisions about (future) policy and strategy
Provide support in recruiting new employees
Checking compliance with financial laws and regulations
Identifying and addressing financial risks in a timely manner
Analyzing the results achieved and making changes based on that
Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) and present them to relevant stakeholders and management
What are the qualities/skills of the financial manager?
Extensive financial and accounting knowledge, experience with budget management, bookkeeping and cash flows.
Analytical and problem-solving thinking skills to optimize business operations and processes and identify and resolve financial bottlenecks
Stress resistant, able to manage and perform different processes and tasks simultaneously
Decisive of nature, able to propose decisions and take responsibility for them
Good planner and organizer, can delegate effectively and does not get lost in the details
Communicative and socially strong, coupled with decisive and natural leadership
